The IB official online training successfully started

6月16日，IB顾问温雅欣女士(Sally Wen，PYP Consultant)与华美外国语学校王满英校长、IB-PYP协调员宋璇老师开展线上培训活动。

On June 16th, Sally Wen, PYP Consultant, an IB consultant, conducted online training activities with Principal Wang Manying of Huamei Foreign Languages School and Teacher Song Xuan, coordinator of IB-PYP.

去年3月，华美外国语学校正式成为IB候选学校，成为罗湖区IB PYP授权候选学校。在IB官方的指导引领下，学校的培养目标、课程构建与开发、超学科主题下的单元探究等内容日趋丰富与完善，形成体系化建设，为正式成为IB认证学校又向前迈进了一步。

Last March，Huamei foreign language school officially became a IB candidate school.

线上培训活动伊始，王满英校长向Sally介绍了学校的办学理念，组织架构，小学开设PYP课程的基本情况等内容。通过细致的沟通，Sally了解到学校的语言、数学、科学、社会、艺术、个人社交和体育学科采用的学习语言(中文/英文)，教师团队的整体情况，教学教研活动的进程等。

At the beginning of the online training activities, Principal Wang Manying introduced to Sally the school's educational philosophy, organizational structure, and the basic situation of offering PYP courses in primary schools.

对此，Sally根据多年IB经验及学校的发展现状，为学校下一阶段的中外教协作备课、教案撰写、政策解读等规范化发展指明了方向。在问答环节中，王校长向Sally请教三个问题：提供向IB认证学校交流学习的机会，如何进行IBPYP资料整理，近期至今年10月份需要做好哪些准备。Sally表示，在IB官方网站上，可以查到中国有100多所可以互访学习的学校，资料的整理收集需要一个过程，重在平时的积累。她要求老师们于10月份前学习完IB官方文件——超学科学习，学习者培养目标，探究，概念，评估，学习方法，国际情怀七大类别内容，并于9月1日前完成单元的协作备课。

Sally pointed out the direction for the standardized development of Chinese and foreign teachers in the next stage, such as lesson preparation, lesson plan writing, policy interpretation, etc., according to her years of IB experience and the development status of the school.

本次培训，干货十足，收获满满。让我们更好地了解IB 候选学校走向正式授权的实现路径，明白了PYP学校的教学管理模式，开阔了我们的国际视野。

At present, there are more than 4,000 certified schools in IB courses around the world.I believe that under the guidance and training of Sally, an IB consultant, and with the joint efforts of all the teachers and students in Huamei, the school will become an IB certified school as soon as possible.
