世界森林日-做青山绿水的守护者三月，是春暖花开的日子;三月，是活力四射的季节。为了让同学们了解世界森林日，3月21日上午，济南枫叶双语学校举行了以“世界森林日-做青山绿水的守护者”为主题的升旗仪式。本次升旗仪式由八年级3班主持并进行国旗下演讲。

“世界森林日”，又被译为“世界林业节”，英文是 “World Forest Day”这个纪念日始于1971年，在欧洲农业联盟的特内里弗岛大会上，由西班牙提出倡议并得到一致通过的。设立3月21日为国际森林日的目的是为提高各级为今世后代加强所有类型森林的可持续管理、养护和可持续发展的意识做出了有益贡献。

World Forest was proposed and unanimously adopted by Spain in 1971 at the Tenerife Congress of the European Agricultural Union. The establishment of 21 March as the International Day of Forests makes a useful contribution to raising awareness at all levels for the sustainable management, conservation and sustainable development of all types of forests for present and future generations.

森林是“绿色工厂”，为我们净化空气。树木可以防风固沙，防止土地流失而变成沙漠。可以蓄水保土，不让河水泛滥成灾。同时，还是我们温暖的家园。森林也可以起到“冬暖夏凉”的作用。

Forests are "green factories", purifying the air for us. Trees protect the land from wind and sand and prevent it from losing and turning into desert. 保护森林，从我做起，从身边的小事做起。平日里，我们杜绝使用一次性筷子，减少纸张的浪费，呼吁身边的朋友爱护森林，保护我们的家园！
